چکیده
یک آسیب‌پذیری در Microsoft Office شناسایی شده است که به‌عنوان بحرانی طبقه‌بندی می‌شود. این مشکل بخش ناشناخته‌ای از کامپوننت Outlook را تحت تأثیر قرار می‌دهد. این آسیب‌پذیری با شناسه CVE-2024-21413 شناخته شده است. حمله از طریق این آسیب‌پذیری از راه دور قابل انجام است.
توضیحات
استفاده از CWE برای اعلام این مشکل به CWE-20 منجر می‌شود. محصول ورودی یا داده‌ای را دریافت می‌کند، اما آن را اعتبارسنجی نمی‌کند یا به‌طور نادرست اعتبارسنجی می‌کند که ورودی ویژگی‌های لازم برای پردازش صحیح و ایمن داده‌ها را دارا باشد. تأثیر این آسیب‌پذیری بر محرمانگی، یکپارچگی و دسترسی پذیری است.
اکسپلویت موفق این آسیب‌پذیری به مهاجم این امکان را می‌دهد که “نمای محافظت‌شده” (Protected View) در Office را دور بزند و داکیومنت را به‌جای حالت محافظت‌شده، در حالت ویرایش باز کند. مهاجمی که این آسیب‌پذیری را به‌طور موفقیت‌آمیز اکسپلویت کند، می‌تواند به سطح دسترسی بالایی دست یابد که شامل امکان خواندن، نوشتن و حذف داده‌ها می‌شود.
مهاجم می‌تواند یک لینک مخرب طراحی کند که پروتکل نمای محافظت‌شده را دور بزند، که منجر به نشت اطلاعات گواهی های اعتبار محلی NTLM و اجرای کد از راه دور (RCE) می‌شود.
