چکیده

این مشکل مربوط به بخشی از پردازش‌های نامشخص در درایور سیستم USB Video Class است. این آسیب‌پذیری می‌تواند منجر به دسترسی خارج از محدوده (Out-of-Bounds) شود. حمله از طریق این آسیب‌پذیری با کمک یک دستگاه فیزیکی امکان‌پذیر است.

توضیحات

ایجاد تغییرات با ورودی نامشخص منجر به یک آسیب‌پذیری از نوع دسترسی خارج از محدوده (Out-of-Bounds) می‌شود. این آسیب‌پذیری در دسته CWE-125 است، به این معنی که محصول داده‌ها را فراتر از انتهای بافر یا قبل از شروع آن می‌خواند. این ضعف بر محرمانگی، یکپارچگی، و دسترس‌پذیری تأثیر می‌گذارد.

اکسپلویت این آسیب‌پذیری نسبتاً ساده به نظر می‌رسد. برای اجرای حمله دسترسی محلی (Local)به سیستم مورد نیاز است و هیچ نوع احراز هویتی برای اکسپلویت موفق ضروری نیست.

نتیجه گیری

مهاجمی که با موفقیت از این آسیب‌پذیری سوءاستفاده کند و موفق به اکسپلویت آن شود، می‌تواند به دسترسی سطح سیستم (SYSTEM) دست یابد. برای اکسپلویت این آسیب‌پذیری، یک مهاجم غیرمجاز باید یک دستگاه USB مخرب را به‌صورت فیزیکی به دستگاه قربانی متصل کند.برای جلوگیری از هرگونه سو استفاده بهتر است از موارد بروزرسانی شده استفاده کنید.
