چکیده

این آسیب‌پذیری بخشی ناشناخته از Win32k را تحت تأثیر قرار می‌دهد. این ضعف امنیتی تغییراتی در سیستم ایجاد می کند که باعث ارجاع به یک اشاره‌گر غیرقابل‌اطمینان (Untrusted Pointer Dereference) می‌گردد. برای اکسپلویت این آسیب پذیری ، حمله باید به‌صورت محلی(Local) انجام شود.

توضیحات

این آسیب پذیری در دسته CWE-822 قرار می‌گیرد. این نقص به دلیل دریافت یک مقدار از منبعی غیرقابل‌اعتماد و تبدیل آن به یک اشاره‌گر (Pointer) و سپس استفاده از آن اشاره‌گر به وجود می‌آید. این آسیب‌پذیری بر محرمانگی (Confidentiality)، یکپارچگی (Integrity) و دسترس‌پذیری (Availability) تأثیر می‌گذارد.

 نتیجه گیری

مهاجمی که به‌طور موفقیت‌آمیز از این آسیب‌پذیری سوءاستفاده کند و موفق به اکسپلویت کردن آن شود، می‌تواند دسترسی سطح سیستم (SYSTEM privileges) را به دست آورد لذا برای جلوگیری از هرگونه نفوذ بهتر است از نسخه های بروزرسانی شده استفاده کنید.
